After more than 54 years of ministry, we want to share our experiences with all those who may have an interest in missions, but we hope also to encourage those who at this point have not even thought about being involved in missions, either for a lifetime ministry or perhaps for short-term involvement in foreign missions. Elsewhere in this book we will share our personal backgrounds, testimonies, and family stories. We will limit ourselves in this book mainly to our years among the Indians in the south of Suriname, but we will also tell you briefly about the other places where we had the privilege of serving
